In Gauge Cargo: It’s where dimensions of the cargo are smaller than or equal to those of the flat rack or open top container of different sizes mostly 20 ft and 40 ft.
Out Gauge Cargo: It’s where dimensions of the cargo exceed the flat rack or open top container by length, width or height, but can still be unitised in containers.
Break Bulk Cargo: This service is used when the size or weight of the cargo exceeds the standard dimensions of containers and cannot be unitised in them. There are solutions such as flat racks which play their for transit of such shipments with adequate lashing in place.
Roro MAFI : Roll on / Roll off also named Ro/Ro: Mostly used for transport of vessels, trucks, trailers, civil works vehicles. In some cases after placing the cargo on MAFI trailer, it gets loaded and unloaded by rolling them into or outside the vessel.
